Will asking for a card scare clients off?
For most hosts it's the opposite. Deposits are normal now. Salons, clinics, and consultants all take them. And a clear policy reads as a sign you run a real business. Nothing is charged when a client shows up. The card is only used on a no-show or late cancel, under the policy they already agreed to. You set the window and the amount, so it stays fair.
Do I have to switch off my current scheduler?
Sessurely is your booking page, so most people make it their main one. You can also run it alongside what you use today and switch fully when you're ready.
Is this just a no-show app?
No. Sessurely is a full booking app: your booking page, a synced calendar, a real client book, services and deposits, intake forms, gift cards, payments, reminders, and follow-ups. No-show protection is the standout feature, and the part that pays for itself fastest, but it's one piece of the whole thing.
How do you actually charge a no-show?
The client adds a card when they book and agrees to your policy. If they no-show or cancel late, Sessurely charges the deposit you set, automatically, through Stripe.
